Updates and Controversies in
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation
TAVR has emerged as a revolutionary treatment for patients with severe aortic stenosis. Over the past decade, this minimally invasive procedure has evolved rapidly, with improvements in device design, procedural techniques, and patient selection.
However, as TAVR has become more widely adopted, new challenges and areas of debate have also surfaced. These include the optimal patient population for TAVR, the long-term durability of TAVR valves, the management of complications, and the role of TAVR versus surgical aortic valve replacement.
In this seminar, we have assembled a panel of distinguished experts who will provide insights into the current state of TAVR, discuss the latest clinical evidence, and explore the key controversies surrounding this transformative technology.
